WA holidays: part eleven

Tuesday 29 October
 
New Norcia
 
We were up and away before 9am
We stopped on the way at Bindor at a huge OP shop
Christopher bought a tray and and old picture frame
for Harvey.
 
 
New Norcia

We took a guided tour of the town. It lasted more than 2 hours
 
 
Pax, a Latin word meaning peace, is the motto of
the Benedictine monks of New Norcia

It is a very hot hot day
 
We went to the New Norcia hotel for lunch
 
Abbey ale 7%
I was soooo hot and thirsty that I drunk half
my beer before we even ordered and was
a bit tipsy.




Christopher and Claude had the ploughman platter
I had a chicken Caesar.
 





 
After Tina arrived from work, as we were all tired
we decided to go to the local Thai restaurant.


 
We could not eat all so we asked for take away.
