Daddy's horse

Wednesday 18 November
Spent the day at home, on the deck.
I started fixing the horse.
I made this horse and the patch work dog
for Shane 1st birthday.
Amelia loved the horse. And when I put her
on it she was moving, riding it on.

She must have been tired but refuse to
have a nap in her cot.
So we simply chill out outside with the
birds and my neighbour was doing the
Same with Ella her baby.
Time to time we could hear Ella.
Amelia kept on looking over.

Tired possum

I cut a piece of the wool and she is trying to put it
back on.

Play pen

This week I finally got the play pen out of the attic.
Amelia loves the beads.
But she shake the play pen a lot.
I think it is too late now for her.
She has so much the habit of going everywhere with me.
Now she is not being able to follow as I move round
the play pen make a good gate for the out door stair way.
and in the living room it protect her from the corners
of the coffee table.
Giving 5 to grand dad.

Almost finished her Vegemite noodles.
Now she is feeding herself.
But she still hold in the other hand her toast with cream cheese.
And in between I give her some of my salmon,
she love it.

Spoon in the other hand and feeding herself
with her fingers, it goes quicker...

Eating strawberries and blueberries.
Today blueberries were in favour.

Our new tennant

In April, Claude built the possum house.
At lunch time Claude and I were eating
on our deck, when I happened to look at the
possum house and got a shock.
A little head was in the doorway
looking at the noisy birds on their feeding table.
I had just put food there and there was a dispute.
We don't know how long it had been living there
because when it curl up and went back to
sleep we couldn't see it anymore.
Claude is very satisfied that all the work
he did was not in vain.

Jacarandas walk

In Woolwhich and Hunters hill

Standing under the tree

Serendipity

We went to Woolwhich to have a look at the Jacarandas. And came by the historical Woolwhich dock
It is now use as a marina.
Few of the Sydney to Hobart sailing boats
were at anchor.

A caisson.
After the ship came into the dock,
the caisson was floated across the entrance
and flooded to sink into place.
The water was pumped out of the dock.
Centring booms hold the
ship in position.
