Sunday 2 February
It is a very beautiful day, hot.
This morning I pack up a picnic and we drove
to Fairlight where we parked the car.
We walk to the ferry. While waiting in the shade
I took off my hat and put it on the bench.
When the ferry arrived I took my bag but
forgot the hat. It was a very hot day.
So I was not very happy as it was silly to buy
a new hat when I have soooooo many at home.
Arriving in Sydney after our cruise on the ferry
we walk to Government house and had our
picnic in the garden overlooking the harbour.
Concert in the art gallery
Sally Whitwell
She played the piano beautifully and was
very witty.
Sally is a conductor, composer, and educator
with presenter Julian Day
Simon Tedeschi played Gershwin
Julian Day and Simon wrapping it up
We were very late coming home.
Manly was still full of tourists.
Lots of people on the beaches
and some having BBQ and picnic.
I did not feel like going home
and having the day stopping.
