Pre school pick up

Wednesday 26 October

This morning Shane and Jo (and Joshua)
are gone to the Hunter valley for a few days
with some friends.

Amelia will be staying with us until Sunday

I picked her up at her pre school.
At first she was very chatty.
Ask me about dinner?
I told her we were having chicken as she like it.
She insisted that we had to go to the shops.
I told her that I already have the chicken at home.
Then I said: We will go to the shops tomorrow!

She was very happy with that.
(thanks Jo)
Yes apparently when Amelia wants to go to the shops
Jo tell her that she can go with grand ma.!
Why does she like the shops so much?

Then the car was silent.

Must have been a busy day.

Southern Highlands winery tour

Sunday 23 October

Christopher and Tina offer us a tour of the
Southern Highlands winery

Up early, we were beeing pick up at 8am
at Central Station

 The Jail
Our first stop was Berrima.
This historic town was established in the 1830's

We bought some nice raspberry jam.
Around 11am we arrived at our first winerie:
Tertini
They put their wine in French oak casks
 degustation
They have some Pink Lady apple cider.
We bought some to try at home.

lunch at Bowral
We had a very nice lunch:lasagna and salad
and sticky date pudding with ice cream

Me in front of Bou.saada
we did not like their wines.

(I have been trying to upload a photo of a
sitting arrangement made of old wine barrels
but I can't)

This is Howards Lane vineyard.
The owners are very friendly people.

Bus back home.
We had a wonderful day with nice people,
not too much wine and nice food.
Thanks T & T

Visit to Milson Point and North Sydney

Saturday 22 October

We went to Milson point to check out the
parking facilities and find out the train
timetable for tomorrow morning.

there was a market.
Claude bought some French crepe
(he did not like it)

We went for a walk along the shore.
They have made a beautiful long path.
When we lived in North Sydney we used to
walk there but the path was not so long and so nice.
 The old swimming pool
decorations of the pool
we went and look at Luna park

Along that part of the path there were
a lot of little statues

This one was in a park

We had a very nice walk and planned to do it
again and this time take a picnic too.
