Sunday 23 October
Christopher and Tina offer us a tour of the
Southern Highlands winery
Up early, we were beeing pick up at 8am
at Central Station
The Jail
Our first stop was Berrima.
This historic town was established in the 1830's
We bought some nice raspberry jam.
Around 11am we arrived at our first winerie:
Tertini
They put their wine in French oak casks
degustation
They have some Pink Lady apple cider.
We bought some to try at home.
lunch at Bowral
We had a very nice lunch:lasagna and salad
and sticky date pudding with ice cream
Me in front of Bou.saada
we did not like their wines.
(I have been trying to upload a photo of a
sitting arrangement made of old wine barrels
but I can't)
This is Howards Lane vineyard.
The owners are very friendly people.
Bus back home.
We had a wonderful day with nice people,
not too much wine and nice food.
Thanks T & T
