seen to upload

after her nap we spent time in the garden

Pre school pick up

Wednesday 26 October

This morning Shane and Jo (and Joshua)
are gone to the Hunter valley for a few days
with some friends.

Amelia will be staying with us until Sunday

I picked her up at her pre school.
At first she was very chatty.
Ask me about dinner?
I told her we were having chicken as she like it.
She insisted that we had to go to the shops.
I told her that I already have the chicken at home.
Then I said: We will go to the shops tomorrow!

She was very happy with that.
(thanks Jo)
Yes apparently when Amelia wants to go to the shops
Jo tell her that she can go with grand ma.!
Why does she like the shops so much?

Then the car was silent.

Must have been a busy day.

Southern Highlands winery tour

Sunday 23 October

Christopher and Tina offer us a tour of the
Southern Highlands winery

Up early, we were beeing pick up at 8am
at Central Station

 The Jail
Our first stop was Berrima.
This historic town was established in the 1830's

We bought some nice raspberry jam.
Around 11am we arrived at our first winerie:
Tertini
They put their wine in French oak casks
 degustation
They have some Pink Lady apple cider.
We bought some to try at home.

lunch at Bowral
We had a very nice lunch:lasagna and salad
and sticky date pudding with ice cream

Me in front of Bou.saada
we did not like their wines.

(I have been trying to upload a photo of a
sitting arrangement made of old wine barrels
but I can't)

This is Howards Lane vineyard.
The owners are very friendly people.

Bus back home.
We had a wonderful day with nice people,
not too much wine and nice food.
Thanks T & T

Visit to Milson Point and North Sydney

Saturday 22 October

We went to Milson point to check out the
parking facilities and find out the train
timetable for tomorrow morning.

there was a market.
Claude bought some French crepe
(he did not like it)

We went for a walk along the shore.
They have made a beautiful long path.
When we lived in North Sydney we used to
walk there but the path was not so long and so nice.
 The old swimming pool
decorations of the pool
we went and look at Luna park

Along that part of the path there were
a lot of little statues

This one was in a park

We had a very nice walk and planned to do it
again and this time take a picnic too.

Baby sitting

Friday 21 October

A beautiful, warm morning.
We went for a walk in  Manly and stopped
for coffee at "the pantry"

then continued our walk towards Shelley beach
And it was time to go home for an early lunch.
I had to be at Jo's at 12.30pm to mind the kids.
When Amelia woke up I had a dance demonstration,
with singing too.
 We played with the Dupplo.
She hammered the blocks together.
She has a little tools box that she loves.
All that time Joshua was happily
playing on his mat

while we were having our dinner I put him
in the walker. He loves the attached toys and
chew on them.
 Amelia ate all her dinner.
she is a bit annoyed with me for taking too
many photos.

Saturday 22 October

I heard Joshua waking and went to get
him and took him to bed with me
He was very happy just to be with somebody.

Amelia is an amazing little girl.
She got her little chair.
took the weet bix box from the cupboard.
took 2 weet bix
Broke them into pieces in her bowl
got the milk out of the fridge
I had to stop her pouring it, but she helped.
Them she put peanut butter on her toast.
I was not needed.
