Cremorne Reseve

Friday 20 January

Beautiful sunny day early in the morning.
By 9 am it was grey but warm.
We had decided on a trip to the Blue Mountains
but we review the situation and decided
to stay nearer home.

The start of our walk was by going across
this foot bridge. Underneath there is a lovely
park, but full of dogs.

We went there a very long time ago and
we don't think we ever walk all the way.
The walk to the end of the reseve took
us 2 hours, we turn back and had our
picnic on the rocks watching the
antic of the jet/speed boats in the harbour.
The walk was bordered on one side by
beautiful, huge houses with well tended
gardens and on the other side by the
magnificant views of the harbour.
This colour photo is almost a black and white
because of the grey sky.
Time for a coffee break.
Claude went to get some at a ferry wharf.
And we had it in a nearby park.

At one spot along the harbour, a long time
ago an old woman did a garden. It all
started with some elephant ears. And
the garden grew. Now the council is
looking after it. It has a lot of little
nooks and cranies.

We are back where we started at the bridge.
here are some dog walkers. It must be a good
business around there.
