Shalhaven beach

Sunday 3 April

End of day light saving.

we were up very early so we decided to

go to Kangaroo Valley or Jarvis Bay,

with a stop for coffee at Berry.

When we arrived at Berry we founded out

it was market/fair day.

We stayed the whole morning walking

around the market. We bought a few things.

honey in a comb. (Claude loves this, yuck)

fig jam from the region.

And an alphabet book for Amelia.

It was then too late to go where we had planned.

We ended up at Shalhaven beach. The kites flying club were meeting. Most of the members were in France in Dieppe for a competition.

I had on a nice hat with a sunflower!!!!!!
On our way back we went exploring.

Most of the roads were dead ends.
pelicans waiting for the fishermen

to clean up their catch

The bat was quite impressive to watch
