Just some notes for my diary

This is the third try, I am using Claude PC, Icould not publish my blog with mine. Something has gone wrong, Claude is trying to fix it.

Diary:

Friday 8 April

Tonight we went to the Sydney Opera House for a concert: The last Romantic, Rachmaninoff's third piano concerto.
We went 30 minutes before to attend the lecture.

Friday 15 April

I was not in the mood to take photos and I regretted it in the evening.

We parked the car at the old gas work in Manly and walk across the little beach to the North Head National park.
We walk all over/across the National Park and the Harbour trust park, we don't know were one stop and the other start.
We walk to the little restaurant for a coffee. It was closed. It had just been refurbished. There was a "for lease" sign. We thought of Shane. He used to dream about opening his own little cafe.

By chance, we stambbled across the first day for the general public to visit an old cemetery, 242 graves.
Some graves are from 1881 (small pox) and a lot of them are from May 1900 (bubonic plague).
Some personnel from the Harbour Federation Trust were cleaning some graves and some stonemasons were restoring others.
The cemetery is in the ground of the former school of artillery which is now called the North Head Sanctuary.

Saturday 16 April

Another musical evening.

My friend Rhian is in the choir. We go to her concert when they are at the Cardinal Cerretti Chapel in Manly.
Tonight was Mozart requiem and the first part of the evening was a solo by the concert master, she is Russian. She played Prokofiev violin concerto no.1 in D.
It was enchanting, the accoustics are very good.
We were almost late. The concert was starting at 7.30pm, it usually is at 8pm.
We went for dinner in Manly and were strolling back up the hill. We saw a lot of cars parked everywhere and thought there was a wedding reception were Nicole Kidman had hers, but it was people for the concert. We did not get our favorite good seats.
