I made caramelised onions
and feta cheese tarts, with a tomato
and artichokes salad followed by
strawberries.

Mont Tomah Botanic garden part three

More flowers and trees

We came across a band and singer.
So we bought a coffee at one of the stand
and sat down to listen for a while.

Mont Tomah Botanic garden part two

our guide show us the remnant of
insects caught in the tube
Christopher and Shane had few of these.
Like all our plants they died
They were selling seedling from the wollomi
for 95 dollars and at the end of the day
they were reducing the price by half.
I saw few people looking at them but the price
stopped them from buying. At half price
during the day they would have sold a few.
Greedy!!

this is a tree from Tasmania
The leatherwood.
We LOVE the honey that the bees
make from this little flower, delicious.

I never saw this flower before

MontTomah Botanic Garden Part one

Saturday 30 April

We went for a big drive to test
the new car.

We went to the Blue Mountains
and visited the cool-climate
Botanic garden.
We wanted to see coloured leaves.

When we arrived at the garden we were
directed to park in an overflow parking.
We did not know but we have chosen a
Food and wine Fair
with lot of market type stalls.

Belly dancer

Then for a gold coin donation we went on a
guided walk to visit part of the garden.
We had few drizzle of rain but we had our
raincoats and it was not cold.
We were a group of ten people and the guide Dawne.
