Firewood

Around 10.45 am the truck arrived with our load of fire wood.

We had to move it from the drive way to the side of the house.

I help Claude load the wheelbarrow

and stack the wood.

We were quite warm.

Claude think we have enough for 2 years.

Quite a load.

We are doing a fire tonight.
We have been having one almost every week end.

On Wednesday we will be doing one fore Shane birthday.

We are having cheese fondue by the fire.

She went up, lift her tummy, was on her hands and toes, rock a bit

and flop.

She was on her fat little tummy waving her arms and legs like a gorgeous little bug.

And I was laughting and encouraging her.

We are ready to go to say hello to Sigrid.

Sigrid has her grand daughter Anna.
Yesterday Anna was disappointed when she saw me, because I told her that Mykaela was at her dad and she will be with me only next week.
In the past the 2 girls had a good time during the school holidays.

Sigrid has a new cat. It does not have a name yet.
It is all grey with a white patch under its chin.
Amelia went for it.

My mother bought it 37 years ago.

I just love it and it is one thing (and the shawl she crochetted) that I couldn't give to St Vinnie.

Reunion

Since I stopped work 2 years ago, I have been going to diner with the support staff from kindy.
We have been meeting from time to time.
Monday night was one of those.
We all met at Vicky house and crammed into Alisa's car to the restaurant.
We shared pizza, pasta, risotto and had dessert with coffee.
I asked for a skim milk cappuccino and the waiter laugh.
So I had a normal cappuccino after all that lovely Italian food.

We spent the evening talking and catching up.
Nothing has changed at kindy.
I took my brag book with photos of Mykaela and Amelia.

Alisa just resigned from special need and will just do crib break 1 day a week.

When I was working, Kerry was crib break on Friday and Vicky was crib break on Wednesday.
and the rest of the week they were working at other kindys.
Now they are sharing a child care worker job.
Alisa was doing crib break and other time special need.
Isabelle was doing relief and special need.

They are a good bunch of friends.
