We went to Piedmont at Terry Hill.

We had a nice lunch and good company.

We went to have a look at the competition but this year 

there was no seating we just had to stand on the 

promenade to watch.

So we did not stay long and I did not take photos

as I was too far

Manly inflatable boats race.

1 km charity race at Shelley beach.

just a brilliant fun filled day

The event raised more than $30,000 for Tour de Cure

Amelia and Joshua overnight stay

Saturday 20 February

Jo and Shane dropped off the kids at

around 2 pm.

Amelia is not well.

We filled up a big cardboard box with books

(Little golden books.)

I had a huge collection.

Amelia is doing a badge for Joey.

We also discover a big ants nest in 

the boxof blocka. Claude had to wash

 them as I must have emptied

a whole can of spray on them.

Then we found another nest inside

some of Claude manuals.

Claude got rid of them as he is retired now

and hopefully won't need them anymore.

By them poor Amelia had a bad headache

and took herself to bed. When I checked on her she was asleep.

Josh played quickly. He made a big floor puzzle

all by himself

We found another ants nest, this time in the laundry.

Raining today the children played nicely inside.

I finished knitting Amelia's  blanket.

She worked out the pattern.

Now I have to saw it.

I am still knitting Joshua's squares

Possum

Thursday 18 February

I was sitting on the sofa when I noticed

outside in the pergola a bit of fluff.

I opened it and there was a possum.

It was not happy and moved to the other side.

We couldn't close the pergola as we will have squeeze him.

I don't know if he is our possum from the possum box

or one visiting but I hope it doesn't go in our roof.

New Dress

Wednesday 17 February

Tonight we are going to a concert

at the Opera.

I decided to wear my new dress!!!

Claude bought me this dress to go out 

to lunch with my friends.

(I found it a bit too dressy for club lunches)

Visit to Stony Range

This morning we are meeting with the

Forestville walking group to visit 

Stony Range.

We haven't been there for YEARS.

One a the walker Eleanor is a 

volunteer there and she gave us a talking tour.
