Dry stone garden or "Karesansui"

It is a very peaceful place to visit

Then we went to the Gosford regional gallery
to view a quilt exhibition

it is amazing that these hangings
are made of bits of material.

Walk and picnic in Manly

Sunday 2 December

Last night we went to a concert at St Patrick
in Manly.
But first we went to "Beaches"
where we had a pizza supreme
(with the prawns on 1 side)
and a goat cheese salad.

So today we have to exercise.......

But first we had to go buy a cooking book
at the restaurant "out of Africa"
(for Christopher Christmas present
The chef / writer is going to autograph it)

We walk from Fairlight along the path
bordering the harbour
To Shelly beach were we had a picnic
on top overlooking the beach.

When we walk back to the car we stopped
and watch a yacht race.

Cleaning the pergola

Sunday1 December

The roof of our pergola opens and closes
But even open it still get very dirty.
We are on the flight path of the sugar bats.
Claude and I cleaned it with Shane's electric water jet.
It did a very good job.

Lunch at Palm Beach

Friday 30 November

We went to Hornby to drop
the advent calendar for the kids
for tomorrow.
And pick up Shane's
water pressure cleaning tool.

Jo was not home but had left us
a note with directions to the
park were she was with the
children and her friends.

We went to see them....

AND I FORGOT TO TAKE SOME PHOTOS.

We had lunch at the Boat Shed in Palm beach.
A nice big garden salad and a glass of wine
to celebrate Claude first day of his holidays.

After lunch we went for a long walk to the end of the beach

And we walk back on the ocean side

Ride to the Armory and picnic

Sunday 25 November

It is a very hot day.

The last few week we have been going
to concerts and restaurants.
So today a bike ride was planned.
I had packed up a picnic which we ate
at the Armory under a shady tree
We spent 1 hour there resting,
but we had to ride back to the car parked
in the bi centennial park.

We had a lovely day, did not go fast,
just a relaxing day in the fresh (hot) air.

Amelia is dacing

I have not done a blog for sooooooooooo long
A lot has been happening.

Amelia had her first concert
But Claude and I did not go.
The ticket were too pricey
for the couple of minutes
she was on stage.

Here are few photos of Jo's

Trying on the make up.
She has huge eye like her daddy.
Christopher used to call Shane
"googly eyes"
(Oh brother love)
Trying on the costume
here is Pebble

with her little friends
waiting in the wing to go on stage.

the 2 last photos were taken on stage
by a photographer.
I copied them with difficulty from
the website.

Mykaela dressed for her school play.

I went to see her but was too far away to take photos
