Playing ball

Wednesday 13 October

We went to put the washing on the

line to dry and discover the bush turkey

digging the garden.

We then went to the park straight to

the swings.

A little boy around 5y was in the next swing

so I push him too.

and he follow us around.

I found a ball and gave it to Amelia

to play. The little boy came to play

with her.

He was trying to bounce the ball...

So Amelia try it too.

Shane's baby soft toys

Wednesday 13 October

I found a plastic bags with a label:

"Shane's stuffed toys"

This morning I decided to open it

with Amelia's help.

She was a bit exited pulling out all the toys.

Shanu the whale we bought in the

USA at Ocean World

in St Diego.

It still have the cabin luggage tag

saying his name "Shanu Andre"

Amelia Kitchen

Sunday 10 October

After a sausage sizzle, Claude help Shane

finishing to built a kitchen for Amelia.

For her birthday she is having a cash register.

So she will have a little Cafe.

Amelia is helping too.

She copy EVERYTHING and get

mad if you don't let her use the tools.

Jo is going to paint it and as I forgot to

take a photo when it was finished I

will take one when it will be painted.

Preparations

Sunday 10 October

We went to help Shane and Jo

getting the back garden ready

For Amelia's party next

Saturday.

The Birthday girl is helping too.

By the end of the day, her pink

outfit was black, but she had

a ball. She had to help with

everything.

Claude removing the thorny dead branches.

I find those palm dangerous.

we have few at home and I am

trying to have them cut.....

Amelia and Jo cleaning the pool.

I was there too...removing weeds.

A lot of the cleaning up will have to be redone

on Saturday morning but at least

the lawn is mown, weeds and cobwebs removed.

They are expecting a lot of people.

After the concert

After the concert we went to

explore the play ground.

But it was very crowded.

Amelia just went up and

down the stairs.

We took just a short drive and walk down

some steps to the promenade, and had a picnic.

Here she got her handbag inside

the shopping bag.

I had a very tired little girl who

fall asleep on the way home.

And when she woke up...

She got out of the cot all by herself!!!

Lah Lah concert

This morning when we were feeding

the birds with Amelia left over

dinner from last night,

the bush turkey flew and landed on the

wall between our neighbour and us.

Amelia was not scare, she talk to it.

Bottom photo was taken were her parents

had their wedding reception.

This morning we went to the Harbord Diggers.

Jo got Amelia and I tickets for the show

Lah Lah.

I did not think that Amelia was old enough

but she danced and wriggle.

She love it.

We were first in.

So today when we talk about her I said

Mykaela so that she knew who I was talking about.

her little arms must be pretty

tired. She knows all the songs.

We bought a CD and had it

autograph by Lah lah.

Here Amelia look shy but I think

she is just tired.

She stood in line holding the CD,

handed it to Lah Lah and waved and

said good bye.

Manly Jazz festival 2010

The Manly Jazz festival

this year was a bit of a wash out.

Saturday and Sunday,

it rained and rained.

But Monday afternoon was

sunny and we went to listen to

some jazz.

Art Blakey's and the jazz Messengers

tribute band.

We had a good time. We left there at 5pm

was quite cold.
