Easter 2010

The Easter eggs hunt begin.
I was very surprised that Amelia did put
the eggs she found, in the basket
I have hidden all the eggs in the
paved area.
Silly Shaneeeee!
This is my champagne.

Looking at all the stash.

Jo showing me photos of the school hat parade.

The Easter bunny also brought
a book each:
For Mykaela: Shoes from Grand pa
For Amelia: Time for bed
burning up a bit of energy

She likes her books, they have a lot of them.

WII board.
Ready to do the sky jump

and she landed

now it is running, Amelia joined in too.

After a yummy dinner, Shane bath the girls

Good Friday pic nic

The weather bureau has predicted rain
for the next few days (Easter)
But today is beautiful.
I made some sandwiches, took fruits
and water and we left for a hike to
Burning palms.
Beautiful walk. But not an easy one.

this is the path.
roots everywhere, good it hold the ground.
The path is going down down down.
So it means that to go home we will
have to go up up up.
First view of Burning Palm.

Once when the kids were small, we went camping there.
You have to take everything with you,
even your water.
We enjoyed our lunch and a rest before heading back.
We saw a lot of bush walkers enjoying the day too.

Raining day

Wednesday 31 March.
Rainy day
Still in PJ playing with her baby.
She gave me one too and we had
to pat them on the back.
She was looking to see if I was
doing it properly.
I was flipping through the newspaper
and gave her a target catalogue.
when I did the Sudoku she went
to the library and came back with a pencil.
Where did she got it? no idea. I thought
I put them all away and yet she went
and got it.
then she notice one of her nail broken
and hanging loose.
She showed it to me, I looked ...
next I got the finger shoved in my mouth.
I had to bit off the nail.
(Jo does that)

stop raining, out we went..

It is still raining, well sprinkling

Look at all her teeth.
She want to go up next to me in the armchair.
Can't have a cup of tea, OH la la.
reading the same book for at least 30 times today.
It is a counting book with lots of animal.
and I had to make all the sounds.
She liked the goat best.
I have no idea of the cry of a goat,
mine was a bit like a horse and a sheep.
She must have like it because I was requested
to do it often.

Daddy's horse.
I made it for Shane first birthday

The mane is a lot of fun
It stopped raining and we decided to go and
look for the birds.
Luckily, as the floor was wet I was carrying
Amelia. Because on the top of the railing
was that L O N G snake.
I called to Claude.
My scream did scare it, it turned and went
the other way in the trees.

At around 4pm, I decided to put
the high chair away.
Amelia was following me and
when she saw what I was doing
She cried, yes cried,
She wanted her chair back .
Then she played happily in it.

A perfect day for riding

Friday 26 was the perfect day to ride
our bikes.
We parked at the sailing club.
Ride to the bridge, cross the road and ride
along the caravan park to the beach.
After a rest and a drink, we rode back.
The beach was full of school children on
an excursion. They had tins with glad wrap
at one end, so the could see in the rocks puddles.
when we arrived back at the bridge we cross again
and rode on the other side of the lake to
Deep Creek bridge. We rode under the bridge
to the dog training area. (1st photo)
Very nice spot. Had fun looking at the dogs catching ball.
Mostly having fun if they refused and
the owner had to get the ball.
When we came back to the bridge it was
time for lunch.
We had a Thai beef salad at H2O.
The salad was a bit pricey but very generous.
(small diner tonight).
We had a very good view.

We had to burn out all those calories.

So we rode bake to the sailing club,

went to the bush track right to the golf course
Oops I just deleted a photo........

End of a perfect riding day.

I have to go to Pilate now

Hot cross bun

Wednesday 24 March
Breakfast
Amelia ate a whole
hot cross bun.
The same than Claude and I!
Where does she put it?
Grand dad and Amelia eating plum.
Amelia started her lunch with a plum.
Oh well everything get mix up in
the tummy anyway!
In the afternoon we tried out a
new park.
Very good for small children and bigger kids too.
That child is scare of nothing.
Few people ask me how old was she?
a little girl of 21/2 was doing
only half of what Amelia was.

I couldn't take a photo but
she climbed it.
I was scare.

Had enough of the play park.
We went for a walk.
Amelia found the paper bark tree
very interesting.

she even ate a piece of it, did not
like it . It stuck to her palate.
Today, she has been eating every
rubbish she could pick up.

these videos are taken at the park. sorry I forgot again not to turn the camera.
