17 months today

Tuesday 16 march 2010
Amelia is 17 months today.
Happy birthday darling.
for the first time I gave her some corn on the cob.
she liked it.
then she went and meet Terry.
Shane made it when he was a sick little boy
staying home.
we stuffed old clothes with bits and pieces
of material.
But poor Terry is not in good shape anymore.
She has been looking at him, pointing
but she did not touch him.
maybe next week!
Wednesday morning.
She has a suitcase with different
outfits and she goes and choose
clothes and dressed herself....
on top of her PJ.
sometime, often she bring them to Claude
in his study and he help her...but...
I bought her a strips T shirt.
So I wanted her to wear it .
Jo and Mykaela have one,
so all 3 will have one now.
Maybe I should get one for
Shane for his birthday!!!!!!
I was not going to post this photo
but I am in love with her beautiful skin.

Manly beach

a park along Manly Beach.
too many 3-4 years old,
we moved to another one
this park look like a mother group
meeting.
Amelia just blend in.
she tried everything.

home for lunch:
pasta and tuna but still room fore corn.
and blueberries
playing with old dolly pegs and
an empty formula tin.

Jo and Shane call her the bags lady!
here she has 2 bags and is running.

I love this picture!
She is trying to touch the tree.

Amelia LOVE playing with this
towel. She spent a long time
playing with it.

She is tired but I was told:
only one sleep per day.
Yeah last week I put her down at 9 am and she
slept till 12.
and again down at 3 for 1 hour...
and she did not sleep that night.

Lunch at Watson Bay

Sunday 14 March 2010
We went to Doyle's for lunch.
no, not really, the pub next to it.
Yesterday Christopher turned 38 years old.
so we celebrated.
I had mussels cooked in white wine and tomato
with some garlic bread.
Claude had a Caesar salad!
wine and a coffee too.
After lunch we went for a digestive walk
along the South head heritage trail.
A nice walk but not many trees.
good walk for the winter, I was hot.

A wet and windy day indoor

Amelia is very independent.
This morning she did not want me to hold her bottle.
cheeky monkey and I miss it as I love doing it.!!!
Claude is gone to the office today.
So when Amelia had her nap, I went
into the attic to look for treasures.
I found a big box full of baby toys.
A bit late for Amelia she is a bit old
for them now, but she still had fun
with them. The noisier the better.
She loves playing with towel, scarves ect.
here she wrapped herself in a small
beach towel which was her daddy's.
yab yab yab
She walk around the house talking
on her phone.
She also loves sunglasses.
I fond 2 old paires last week when I was
cleaning the laundry. So I put them in her toy box

in the first videos she is calling her daddy
and in the second she play with her music box

she is sending kisses

Playing the flute

It's the first time I saw her playing with a doll.

I found this doll in the attic, MINE's.

It was very moving to watch her.

We went for a walk around Fagan park

the park is doted of little gardens.
The Chinese garden.

this garden (I think) was early Australian.

Looking at the eels and tortoises.

In the Dutch garden.

a hot and tired possum

sand and water play
Kay (jo's mum) and Paul are here
for a few days. They brought
Zac with them too

Rosina's sixty

Friday 5 march
Rosina is turning 60 on the 6 (today)
All the aqua girl went to H2O
on Narrabeen lake, for lunch.

The view was superb.
The food was very nice.
I had Atlantic salmon with salad.
BUT, YES BUT....
They charged us:.....
$5 per person for corkage...
and $4 per person for cakeage.
I have NEVER been anywhere
where they charge if you bring a birthday cake.
I should have taken the photos when we had
the food but forgot.
Here they took away the cake to cut it
and bring it with our coffee.

visit from the Kookaburras

Today we had 4 different type of birds
feeding on Amelia leftovers.
She is fascinated with all the going on,
and the different bird cry.
We had a family of 5 kookaburras.
Also rainbow lorikeets, grey minors and currawongs.
