Wednesday 16 December 2009
Amelia is 14 months TODAY Yehhh
She loves pen, pencils texters.
She is doing some coloring.
Look, she is even putting the lid back on.

I got her a Christmas T shirt.
It is more like a dress.

Christmas bells.
oh, a ball.
the tree is completely decorated with non breakables.
I got so much decorations (all presents)
I could decorate 3 trees.
Isn't she gorgeous?
she is just wondering what to explore next.
She start going somewhere and stop to see if
I am following.
I do that all day.In the evening I am exhausted
and haven't done a thing.
The whole family Christmas stocking.

This is the way she is now often crawling.
Few time she try standing from this
position and tip over.
The first time I was wondering how she could have
fallen, so I watch her.
She loves the magazines rack.

Poor lavender teddy.
Back in its box.

Playing with old dolly pegs.

The play pen makes a good gate.

At lunch time, she kept on knocking over
her plastic cup with the spout.
And pointing to my glass.
I kept on saying:
Grand ma glass.
I was a bit slow.....
I pour her boiled water in my glass and...
voila
She did not spilled a drop.
I had a lot of fun, every week she is doing new things.
Last night (Tuesday), I was preparing her bath.
She was standing near by pulling on her nappy.
She knew she had to take it off to have her bath.
Gorgeous

National Senior Xmas lunch

Thursday 10 December 2009
One Thursday a month I go to the
National Senior Meeting.
They have a speaker. It has always been
very interesting.
they also have outings and BBQ
I went to few of those
This is our table No 7
Rhian, Marg, Joan

Jenny, Robin and Gladys.
Gladys is not from our group but we were 7 at a table for 8
So they put only people to fill up the table

Joan, Marie (yes got you), Jenny
We had a lovely lunch. Alternate plate.
I had planned with Robin to swap the entree
but she was sitting at the same space than I.
So Gladys said she will.
I wanted the Caesar salad for entree,
the other was a pumpkin soup.
I got what I wanted but then....
Gladys wanted the roast pork as she had Turkey and ham
on Tuesday, So did I but as she was nice to me I swap
(but the pork was looking very nice)
DY school sang and dance for us.
We also had prizes. A number was at the back of our
menu. I got 2 crocheted coat hangers.
Guess who is getting them for Christmas?

A quiet day at home

Wednesday 9 December 2009
You can see that Amelia is not 100
She is not too sure of this puppet

She likes having them both

As she is a bit stuffy, I gave her a
lavender aromatherapy bear.....
She through it at me and play with the box.
Now this is a bit later she did give it a kiss
but now she kept on putting it back
in its box.

We never saw once the fountain working.
It was very strange not to see the big jet.

Oh la la what a night

This is the cheeky monster on Wednesday morning.
Yes all smile.
During the night she has been crying a lot.
I think it was our worst night.
At 3.15 am I gave in and gave her 4ml of Neurofen.
It did not do anything.
By 4 am, I check her nappy, rub vicks
on her chest and Bonjela on her gum.
Wrap her in her doona (cold night)
and sat on the sofa nursing her.
She snuggle in and felled asleep.
After I put her into her cot, she
only woke up once briefly till 7.30 am
a real clown

gently is a word I used often today.
She is really rough.

She has been walking a lot aroud the furnitures.

She had a nice morning sleep,
woke up with red cheeks ( teething?)

After lunch we went to Dee Why beach.
First a play in Michaela park.

She had a go at everything

Clever girl

She made a friend ( just like her sister)

She wanted her shoes on.

Having fun with the little girl.

Then we went to the beach.

Grand dad bought her a bucket and a scoop.

Having a read.

A tired possum, having her afternoon snack
before going home.

She went to sleep in 5 minutes.
Slept for 1 whole hour in her car seat.
Again woke up with red cheeks.
