Change of plans

Saturday 10 October

I packed a picnic and we were on our way to the
Royal National Park to do a bush walk when
my phone rang:
"Grand ma I haven't see you for a long time...
Do you want to come and help dad with the deck?"
We could hear Jo and Shane in the background laughing.
The sore point is that Shane ring only when he want something:
like, Claude help or us babysitting. He never ring just to invite us.

So we went, we couldn't let our grand daughter down
and we are glad we went as we spent a lovely day.

Claude and Shane building the cabana

Amelia making a picture by burning the wood
with a magnifying glass.(Mykaela showed her how to do it)

Shane is growing a bear

Jo is washing the wall of the house ready to paint it.
While it dry she fill up a pool bean bag.

That the way to do it.
I always make a mess as I always do it by myself.

meanwhile Claude and Shane are still working.

the children are trying out the seat.

and Jo is changing the colour of the house.

I spent the afternoon supervising the children
play with the bean bag.
I had a bit of trouble making Amelia and Joshua
that it was dangerous to dive under it.

The back wall of the house look great.
And the platform on the deck look great too
and I forgot to take photos of them finished.

Jo invite us to stay for a BBQ. End of a perfect day.
