winter Yulefest in Camden Valley

Tuesday 14 July

We gave our neighbour Sigrid a lift to
the bowling club where we boarded a
coach with our fellows National Seniors
to go to the Camden Valley Inn
for Christmas in July.
We have never been, so it is a first for us.

We were disappointed, I guess we expected
too much.

We thought there will be a big fire pace
with logs burning like in the picture.
But we were in the conservatory and no fire.

wall decorations
Christmas tree, every table had one.
And I was expecting a huge one in a corner!!!!

an old man playing the guitar and singing
That was the entertainment!!!

my plate of food, then plum pudding.

I went for a walk around the inn after lunch
and found this nice little room with a fire.

one of the National Senior singing.
He always does that.

we went in the garden and explore
then sat in the sun.

Claude is not a member but I took him with us as
we never had a Christmas in July.

Sigrid complained all the way home.

We were disappointed, for $75 per person
the food, entertainment and venue were not
up to our expectations.
