Cottage point

Friday 20 February

The lawn mower has been playing up,
so we took to be fixed and serviced.

To boost up Claude moral, we went
for a drive in the National park
And went to Cottage point.
Last time we went there was with
Christopher a long time ago.

The kiosk has been taken over by
a young couple, it look well
maintained and they did a lovely garden.

We had 1/2 a bottle of wine and
a Mediterranean vegetables tart
and salad. Followed by a nice coffee.

No sun but still warn enough.
We had a very relaxing time
before our drive back home.

Then we walked along the coastal walk, passed
the Waverly cemetary, Bronte Beach, Tamarama beach
and arrived in Bondi just in time for lunch.

We went to the iceberg club.
Again we had a marvelous table with the view.

Sunday

Sunday 8 February

With some of his medication
Claude is not allowed in the sun.
So I went to nippers.
The family was small today.
Only Shane Amelia and Joshua.
Jo stayed home to be with her daughter.
Mykaela has an overnight
friend from her new school.
The girls are going to the movie
(not boring nippers)

Amelia wanted her daddy to watch
her doing nipper.
I played with Joshua building
sand castle, mostly hole.
Then we jumped waves.
and got further and further in the water.
Shane and I were suppose to swap
but Shane seeing how good
and not scare of the waves
Joshua was, we continued on.

I am amazed how Joshua went
so far out and did not panic
when a waves went over his head.
he just said:
"that was a sneaky wave"

Shane cane to see how his dad was.
After a phone call to Jo, Shane and the kid stayed for lunch

Amelia is a newpaper star

Saturday 7 February

This morning looking through
our local paper I came across
a photo of Amelia and Tara at nippers.

Claude was not sure it was Amelia
as the photo made her more round in the face.

So I scanned it and e mail it to Jo and she confirmed
that indeed it was Amelia

As I was going to the Diggers to aqua
I pinched a dozen newspapers
so that Jo and her friend can give mementos
to their families.
