Wednesday 8 October
Early this morning we were on deck
to witness our arrival in Moorea.
a ship wreck
view from our deck
we took the tender ashore
then we took a boat smaller than the tender to
go our our excursion around
the driver of the boat was very relax, no hand on the wheel
we came across people swimming with reef shark and rays
we arrived at the motu
the lagoon where we swam with the rays
the beach, coarse sand and mostly coral bits
the rays were very friendly
and loved to be patted
then the rain came and everybody sheltered waiting
for the sun to come back for us to go have a swim!!!
Deuh!! when we realised how stupid this was we all
went back in the water and the sun came back
to dry us
but on the way back it rained again
Margaret and Paul
tonight is the farewell dinner
we had bomb Alaska for dessert.
the chiefs brought them in a defile with loud music.
Sandra
our waiters
our table group
It is sad this is the end of our cruise.
Tomorrow Papeete and debarking.
we went to the bar to listen to music for a little while
before going on deck and watching some Tahitian dancing
