Yesterday we went to 3 different nurseries

to look for mulch.

We did not found what we were looking for.

 

But in a corner I saw "all plants 50cents"

 

So I went to investigate ( they were a sorry lot)

We chose 4 of the best.

They are hardy plant which a bit of watering

brought them back to life.

 

 

 One of my neighbour gave me this plant.

It has no roots just grow hook over a branch.

 Oh there is something hard down there!!!!

 It turned out to be the concrete base

of the old letter box

 We bought 2 plants with flowers, one orange

and one stripy and 2 plants without flowers

so they are our mysteries.
