Tonight we are meeting with a group at Shelly Beach
to go and watch wild life in the dark using infra red binocular.
our group
Claude
me looking where I put my feet.
Here we are coming out of a hole in the wall
dividing the National park and the Harbour trust.
We saw lot of possums, bandicoots and bush rats
a possum was spotted
we are using our night vision binocular
I could not take photos theses are some that Jess
our guide put on his facebook.
We had an excellent outing. The weather was gorgeous
just balmy, no wind and more important the rain stayed away.
Jess told us that he had aboriginal blood, we thought that he was white.
he talk a lot about the tribe who used to live around Manly.
he call us "you white fellow"
I thought it was funny as most of the group was Asians,
only 3 whites
He showed us some bush tucker. I will try some as I have
some of the plant growing in my garden.
We drank two different types of bush tea and ate wattle
seeds scones with bush jam.
