Sights around Manly

Sunday 17 June

No rain! I can't believe it.

Claude and I went for a walk in Manly,
along the beach front to Shelly Beach.
Where we sat in the sun and did a bit
of people watching.

Some one had put crochet bikinis on the statues.
Some one reported it and it was in our local
newspaper during the week.
Nobody is owing to have done it yet.

a stretched combi.
($500 to rent.)

well 2 sights that I never seen before!

My own play group

Saturday 16 June

We went to have lunch at Jo and Shane's

They are looking after the 2 little girls of Jo's
friend Meinir, who is in Melbourne.
She is singing the Welsh anthem at the rugby match.

making purple play dough

Nia showing me her pancake with strawberries

Amelia had eaten all her strawberries

time to make something else.

Joshua kept us entertained.

Mali had a fixation with an odd pair of shoes.

Claude and I took 40 photos....most are all blurred. It is a shame.
one funny one was Claude putting the shoes on Mali and after she
had once again taken them off, Amelia was putting them on her.
The children played well all together. And I was tired. So here is
hoping for a good night sleep as I did not sleep the night before.
It is not fun to get old!

we stopped for coffee at the Zebu in Port Macquarie

we drove to the top of the hill to have a look
at the big waves.
A lot of people had the same ideas. They
were all taking photos. But with my small
camera we can't really see the surf.

we saw a lot of rainbows on our way home.
But we did not find the pot of gold............

End of our holiday.
