Anzac Day
Wednesday 25 April
Bike riding around Narrabeen Lake
with Jo and the children.
Joshua is ready to go.
we are on the way
It is going to be a long ride if Amelia picked up
all the flowers on the edges.
We stop at a play ground for a snack and a play.
Mykaela is right at the top.
Amelia is walking across the suspension bridge.
Mykaela is spinning so fast, her hair
is flying horizontal behind her.
We are having a lunch break.
Joshua has discovered the stairs.
This is the first time he went up the stairs.
He wanted to go where is sisters were.
This is taken after Amelia went over the edge.
The pathway is hedged by a type of step.
Amelia (certainly looking somewhere else)
hit the step, shoot over her bike, down
the edge, hitting a tree on her way. And
her bike followed and fell on top of her.
The edge was over a meter dip.
I have never been so scare in my life.
What a relief to hug her when Jo, who
had jump in the hole, hand her over to me.
Amelia was crying but after a bit of TLC
she hop back on her bike and finished the
ride back to the car
Having a well deserved drink at H2O.
yum strawberry milkshake
yum! chocolate milkshake
Jo send me this photo of Amelia injuries.
We were sooooo lucky.
Apart from Amelia fall we had a really nice day.
Thanks to Jo for suggesting it.
