Oh my god the time went so fast. this little man
is already 1 year old.

I t look like I am OK with another year of blogging.
When I came home from the birthday celebrations
there was a message from Google , a receipt for
another year. So it look like we have a roll over.
It is what Claude thought might happen if we
did nothing about changing our account.

Grey Friday

FRIDAY 25 MAY

Joshua Birthday

I rang up Jo on my way to the hairdresser.
to wish Joshua a happy birthday
(Thank god for Bluetooth .)

Joshua was having breakfast.
Joshua is 1 year old today.

After the hairdresser we drove to North Head
to have a look at the new cafe and see their menu.

There is not much indoor sitting.

We had a coffee with the beautiful
view of the harbour.

I think this place will be good in summer,
if it can survive the winter.

After our coffee we drove to Curl Curl
and had a walk along the boardwalk
to the Diggers for lunch.
I had a $15 birthday vaucher which
had to be used before the end of the month.

yes, we had a chicken Caesar salad.

and we enjoyed our lunch
with another beautiful view.

We had a very nice day, and this might be my last blog.
Claude and I can't understand all that Googgle stuff
about my account with them. So we shall see.

I only wish it was not so expensive to print my blog
(I started doing it) as I would have kept the record of my blog.
I had a fun 3 1/2 years  doing it.

Aqua may birthday

THURSDAY 24 MAY

AQUA MAY BIRTHDAY.

From our aqua group we are 6 girls
having a birthday in May.
We already celebrated Jill and Marge.
Today we are celebrating:Marie, Martha,
Rhian and I.
We went to the Star Casino to the
Garden buffet.
Oh my god I ate 12 huge prawns,
After that only nibbles I was so full.

As we could not bring a cake to the casino, Tricia
went to the desert counter and made this one
with the selection available.

Martha, Rhian, Pam, Sandra, Tricia

Camille, Anne, Marie hiding, Martha

here we can see Marie.
Jill (which idea it was to go to the casino) is unwell.
Jenny had a hypo last week and don't trust herself at a buffet
Marge is gone on holiday in England
Rosina is working
Jan could not make it. So it was a small group
but we had fun and were very stuffed.

Another year older

SUNDAY 20 MAY

Claude and I are meeting Jo, Amelia and Joshua
for brunch at the Deck restaurant on DY beach.

A cuddle from grand ma.
She has not been very well.

Amelia putting the topping
on her banana bread.
She did a very good job.

Jo's eggs Benedict with smoked salmon.

my brunch: beacon and scrambled eggs.
Oh I love scrambled eggs and can't make
nice fluffy one.
Claude had like Amelia. He does not like
eggs for breakfast and they did not have
pancakes which he usually have.

Jo and Joshua.

there has been a shower while we were
having our meal but it had stopped so
we went to the park for the children
to use up a bit of their energy.
They have been very good at the
restaurant.

Claude and I went home to get ready
to go to the city to the Casino.
We went to see a musical:
"An officer and a gentleman"
We enjoyed it. I am amaze that
it did not get good reviews.
We came back to the Northern
Beaches for dinner in DY.
No cooking for me GREAT.

TUESDAY 15 MAY

We waited for the ferry to come
to cross Port Hacking.

The bay

Old people are funny...
They were all worried, they thought
that we will have to get our feet wet
to go into the ferry as the water was
going over the jetty.

the ferry arrived

our captain has a sense of humour!

Sigrid and Jenny and the gang

Camille and Sigrid

and me, yes I was there too.

We caught back our bus on the other side
and it took us back to the club by 5 pm.

A very good day with friends.

Lucas heights

TUESDAY 15 MAY

LUCAS HEIGHTS

I went on a tour with the National Seniors.

We had a very interesting talk.
We were not allowed in the reactor.
We saw it by TV.
I saw more when I went to visit
the old reactor when Shane was working there,
buiding this new reactor.
Anyway it was very intersting.

They took us to a lab with a viewing platform,
behind glass
and then a bus tour around the sight.
They pointed out the buildings and what they were for.
I wish we could see more.

The only photo I got of the place.
We had to put all our belonging in a locker
so no camera, no phone.

After the tour we travelled through the
Royal National Park and onto Bundeena.
Where we had lunch at the RSL club.

View from my seat at lunch.

Camille and Marie

Jenny and Tony

Tony, Peter and Tricia

Marie and Rhian waiting for the Bundeena ferry

After lunch some of us walk to the ferry.
The bus dropped the people not able
to do the walk down.
The bus then drove to Gunnamatta Bay
to pick us off on the other side
and we took the ferry accross Port Hacking.
