Thursday 5 April
Beautiful day. Claude has the afternoon off.
We took the ferry from Mossman Bay to the
City. We had a quick look at the new Museum
of Contemporary art. I don't get it. I think it
is all "rubbish" It does not look like art to me.
Well what I call art. I really did not get it.
one display not too bad was a wall mural of children
shoes, slip on covered with shells.
Something to do with old shoes, and call it ART.
Just outside the Museum in the harbour, we saw a boat
all covered up with small glass mirrors. Claude was
wondering if it was part of the exhibition, but no.
We went to see La Traviata
the famous chandelier
we had dinner at the little open air restaurant
overlooking the City.
What a beautiful night.
We loved it.
