Southern Highlands adventures
Sunday 5 February
BERRY
We had a picnic lunch in a park.
We went to Berry to go to the
Annual show, but it has been
cancelled because of the rain.
But today was sunny and 32.
A nice shop, I like browsing in it
each time we pass through.
KANGAROO VALLEY
Then we drove on to Kangaroo valley
in search of a nice coffee.
We arrived in Kangaroo valley, hot 32
we felt like an icy cold beer but the
beer garden was very crowded. so we
walk around looking at the shops.
Claude think there is another pub
near the bridge.
an old petrol station
somebody with a good sense of humour!!!
The only pub.
We saw that horse, almost the same than the
one we bought our children over 20 years ago.
they sale it for 365 dollars. Oh boy I have to
go on e bay.
and this garage is almost similar than
the one Claude made for Shane
fifth birthday in 1979
in a craft shop we saw this gorgeous
bird feeding table.
Then we drove to the bridge.
It is a bit outside the town and
today is toooo hot.
Under the bridge a lot of people were having a swim.
FITZROY FALLS
dizzy heights
better view
TWIN FALLS
this is the start (top) of the Twin falls
the falls from another angle
ROBERTSON
on our way back home we stopped for
our lon awaited beer in Robertson,
just near the big potato who look
like something else.
ahhhhhhhhh a nice cold beer.
We had a tiring day. Visiting and walking in
32 degrees was hard thirsty work!!!!
