Friday 12 August
I read in the local paper a review
of a kiosk attached to a very expensive
restaurant at Freshwater.
The review was wonderful: salad from $10.
So we decided to try it for lunch and enjoying
the lovely view of Freshwater Beach.
The blackboard menu was quite impressive.
We settled for Roast vegetables salad.
Claude went to ordered and was told that
they only serve sandwiches in winter.
So why the menu, why the newspaper review.?
Pilu famous restaurant on the left and kiosk on the right.
the view: Freshwater beach
So we walk up the street to the Harbord Beach Hotel
This pub has won a lot of awards, and that was
reflected in the prices.
We never had such an expensive chicken Caesar salad.
But it was very nice.
Then we drove to the coast further north
and "stole some rocks"
When we got back home we put them around the pot
on the man hole.
We need more rocks, we can still see the man hole.
last year we gave this tree a very severe trim.
We have a lot of flowers this year.
Lorikeets eating the nectar in the grevilla
