Beads maize

She just had her bath and now is having

her bottle. But she hardly drank any.

Wednesday 16 June

Amelia is 20 months today.

Happy birthday darling.

At Ikea I bought a beads maize.

I am trying to put it together.

Amelia is threading 7 beads on

each metal rods

she is making finger puppets with the beads

an engineer in the making

the maize is finished.

Amelia has taken a liking with the Allen key

and is tightening the screws.

She did not play at all with the maize,

even after I hide the Allen key.

And Claude could not help himself to say:

"I told you so"

He think that she is too old but I don't think so.

At my kindy we had 3 maizes and the children

there were from 3 years old to 7 years old.

We are going to do counting, color,

hand and eyes co ordination ect.
