Anembo Reserve

Friday 16 May
Day 3
Hilltop to Headland Meandering in May
Anembo reserve
 
We did not even know this reserve existed in Duffy Forest.

The reserve was very small.
the track were use by horse riders
as this part of Duffy Forest is mostly
horses studs.
 
I was covered with little stings
I don't know what they are.
I had to use twizzers to
pull them out.
I am very itcy.
I also had a tick who burried himself in me.
 
(13 days later I am still itchy time to time)


Narrabeen Lagoon

Thursday 15 May
Another beautiful day.
We have been lucky with the weather lately.
Today is the second day of the
"Hilltop to Headland Meandering in May"
We are doing Narrabeen lagoon.

Claude and I have packed our lunch so we went
for a longer walk as it is such a lovely day.
 
This walk was not a new one for us. We
often do it by foot or on bike.

Manly Dam to Queenscliff Beach walk

Wednesday 14 May
 
Our Shire, Warringah shire is having
walks organised with different conservation group.
There is 4 walks in the serrie
"Hilltop to headland Meandering in May"
Today it's:
Manly dam to Queenscliff Beach.
 
9 am our starting point at Manly dam.
a lovely picnic spot not far from our place.


 
We have never seen this pool before
"the Mermaid Pool"
a few of the places our guides took us,
we have never been there before.
One day we will have to redo it on our own.

 
Arriving at Queenscliff we had morning tea.
We spent a lovely morning, discover new walking tracks
and it was FREE, you cannot beat that for entertainment.


Mother's day

Sunday 11 May
 
 
Shane and the children have bake some scones.
they were huge and very yummy.



Mykaela making Joshua a chocolate.
 
Then we all drove to St Albans to the old pub
where Shane has reservation.
We were very lucky it only sprinkle when we
arrive and stayed dry and mild for the rest of the day.

We first took Mikaela there when Shane and Jo
were on their honeymoon.
Jo and I had the same lunch:
Twice baked leg of duck with salad,
delicious




 
Amelia was in our car as they were all fighting when
we left their house, so she was again in our car
on the way back.
We are on the Wiserman ferry

Joshua hit him thinking it was a game.


Food and wine Fair

Sunday 4 May
 
We went to a park in Bayview
for the food and wine fair.


 
We bought some french crepes
Claude: 3 cheese, Camembert, blue and another one(forgot)
me:Mushroom, ham and cheese.
At another stand we bought a glass of wine,
and sat in a deck chair eating and listening to the bands.
A nice relaxing day.


Jill 80th birthday

Friday 2 May
 
Today, a group of us (thirteen) from aqua
are going to Limani on Narrabeen Lake
to celebrate Jill 80th Birthday.

Jill was the last one to be serve
with a sparkler.
And we all sang Happy Birthday

 
We had a very nice meal and good company


Walk to Bondi

Monday 21 April
 
We parked the car in Clovelly
and walk to Bondi along the sea shore.
It is a nice long walk with quite a few steps.
 


We had lunch on the terrace of the
Bondi Iceberg Club.

What a lovely view.
We queue up for opening time and were one
of the first so we could choose a nice table
with a view.
 



After lunch while we were having coffee,
a group of people were waiting for our table.
They jumped on it as soon as we got up.
