Watson Bay

Sunday 30 March

We parked the car in Vaucluse and took
the walk along the cliff top to Watson Bay.
We passed by the Macquarie lighthouse.
The weather was very pleasant.

We had lunch at the Beach Club. Doyles is just next door.

We had the "Super food salad"
. Peruvian quinoa
. roasted summer vegetables (we has capsicum and eggplant)
. chickpeas
. pepitas
. cranberries
with an herb dressing

It was very nice but too filing for a lunch. Lucky for us
we had to walk back to the car but before this we went
to explore and spot other eating places. I thought a
dozen oysters on the beach would be nice!!!!

Claude is cooking

March

Claude is cooking some mince chicken and he
made some enchiladas.
I just told him to read the instruction on the packet!!!
They were very nice and there was enough
(with a salad) to do us 2 nights

Baby sitting

Tuesday 25 March

Shane is in China.
Jo is playing hockey on Tuesday night.
Last Tuesday, the 18 we also baby sit
but my arm was too sore and I forgot
to take photos.
Jo has never played hockey before
but she is enjoying it.
It release a lot of energy (frustration, anger)
she can beat the hell at the ball and feel good.

Mykaela putting her feet in the air

Amelia giving us a demonstration
of her dancing.
she loves it

Joshua oblivious of the antics
of his 2 sisters.
A tired possum

And poor Jo doing the cooking

While Jo drove Mykaela to her scout meeting.

(Claude was supposed to pick her up after
the meeting, but Jo found another child
father to drive her home, as she realised
that with her playing hockey, Shane won't be
able to pick up Mykaela as the 2 younger
children would be asleep.)

I look after the children in the bath.
Claude dried them off.

Joshua is in bed.
Amelia and grand dad dad are cuddling
watching TV.
(A picture I use to see every Tuesday night
when we were looking after her
when she was little.)

Newport yacht club

Sunday 23 March

Very warm day.
We went to the Newport yacht club.
They have a "Sail expo "on.
It was a good opportunity to go and visit it.
We also had lunch there while waiting
for Claude to go and visit " Wild Oats"

Symphony in the park

Saturday 22 March

The Sydney Symphony orchestra is giving a
concert in Parramatta Park.
We went last year and fill up a survey.
This year they contacted us with another survey
and you could win a free parking spot. I filled
it up no expected to win as we did not go to
that park at all in the year.
But I won a parking spot. So we decided to go
as it will be easier for Claude to carry the chairs and the picnic.
He could do a couple of trips as the parking was near
the concert spot.

the orchestra rehearsing.
Workmen are taking down the drop sheet and the
barricades

The crowd was early coming in
Got my spot.

enjoying a glass of wine

Fatal bike ride

Monday 17 March

Today is my Pilate day but I thought it would be nicer
to go bicycling. We haven't done it for awhile.
I packed up a picnic while Claude installed the
bikes on the rack.

We went to Homebush.

Having our picnic at the Armory

We mostly rode in the park. But they changed the parking's.
We can only stay 2 or 3 hours and we wanted an all day parking spot.
They done this as there is a lot of new offices being built near the park
and people are parking there (still do it)
The spot we found meant that we had to go in the street for awhile...

I fell of my bike and head first in the street.
My front wheel went into a hole near the kerb as I
was coming into the street

lucky I had a good helmet on.

I broke the top on the bone above the elbow.
The doctor call it a chip.
The bone broke of but stayed in place so
I have only half a cast to keep my
arm immobile while the bone knit back.

The cast is still heavy, lucky it is only a half one.

St Patrick day parade

Sunday 16 March

We took the Manly ferry to go to Sydney
to view the parade.
As we arrived the sky opened and rain
became heavier as the minute passed

The rain became too heavy and we decided to go home.
We had our picnic lunch in the ferry and so did a lot
of other people.
The only thing I missed out was my glass of
Guinness

Rosina birthday

Friday 7 March

Today is my friend Rosina birthday.
And all the aqua girls are having lunch
at the Harbord Hilton.

I was suppose to take photos of us when
the food arrived....
Wwwwwweeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllll
food in front of me, I dig in and forgot
the photos.

Rosina did not have dessert, the meal
was very generous. Only about 3 or 4
had dessert.
Anne gave a bit for taste to Rosina.

Happy birthday Rosina

Jo and Shane wedding Aniversary ( we baby sit) Friday morning
