Little Manly point pic nic

Friday 25 February.
Lazy day
I packed up a picnic and we went to
Little Manly Point Park.
(The old gas work)

We found a nice shady spot with a gorgeous view.
we could see the quarantine station.

the harbour

boats sailing.
And the ants found us.
We had to move to a bench to finish
our lunch in peace.
After lunch we went for a little bush walk
to a secluded beach in the National park.

I was collecting tiny shells for my card making.
We had a long relaxing afternoon.

Chalk drawing

Wednesday 23 February
After her nap and her yogurt,
we went outside for some more fresh air time.
We could not use the deck as we are having
a new pergola put in.

I drew around Amelia with chalk,
The poor child is wondering if I am
all there!!!!
she put the eye
(the big blob is just that a blob of paint.)

she put a shoe on

my turn, only my feet.
then she put on the mouth and the nose.
She is very clever, the placement was perfect.

Green street park

Wednesday 24 February
Few weeks ago they opened a new park.
It is not far from the big mall.
I did not go there before as the trees
are all young one and I thought it would be too hot.
Today was not a hot day in the morning.
When I said to Amelia "park"
she shook her head "no"
I was flabbergasted. It is the first
time she refused to go to a park.
So I said "shops"
and she went and put her shoes on.
I was not really fibbing, we had to park at
the greengrocer as the parking is not very good
near the park.

Amelia had a look around

"Dolphin"
How clever is she?

She went along the wall looking at the plaques.

This little girl had to do a wee.
So her mother made her do it in the garden
(yep no toilet, the nearest is at the mall)
When the little girl had finished her
business, Amelia peeped out
"My turn"
The other mother laugh and said
"how sweet"
Oh yeh, Amelia bumped her head and
is showing me where she did it.

Amelia is playing with Adelaide.
They are almost the same age.
Adelaide was born in September.
Amelia is taller
Adelaide has a lot of hair, so does
her baby sister.

Amelia the photographer

Wednesday 23 February

After breakfast Amelia decided
to clean her high chair
Then go for a horse ride....

and blow bubbles

And then she wanted to hold my camera

1st photo...

after I explain how to take a photo.
She took this one.
Amelia the photographer.
She was listening intensely to my explanations
I was very surprised with her first effort.
And she went back to her bubbles.
I was happy of that too.
I thought I might have created a photo
monster, and one in the family is enough.
