Christmas day 2009

We decided to go on a pic nic at West head in the
KU-RING GAI National park.
we had a lovely spot overlooking Palm beach
Again, we forgot the camera.
I am getting good at using my phone.

Enjoying a glass of wine

Yep a huge goanna in the tree near us.
if you go back to Claude photo you can see it.
It took us ages before we saw it.
But we were looking in front of us!
That is another one.
A pest, going to the picnickers to be fed.

live Nativity scene

Saturday 24 December
Claude finished work at midday.
We went for a walk in Manly,
and saw camels being downloaded near the beach.
then we saw hem again at St Matthew church.
They had a kids service with camels and a live manger

Mary and the donkey

Funny thing about Manly fountains...
people use them to wash off the sand
from their feet

Manly beach was very crowded.
Claude only spotted 1 topless girl....

Aqua Christmas lunch

Tuesday 22 December
Colloroy Beach
Ex service men club on
Aqua girls Christmas lunch
This is the view from our table
From left: me, Marg, Jenny, Sandra, Tricia
Rhian and Rosina

left: Marie
Right: Jan, who now live in the central coast but still
join us for Christmas.
Last year we all went to her place.

Funny day.
They did not have our booking.
It took AGES to be serve
But I had the $12 lunch special:
Steak, chips and salad + a glass of house wine.

We all put a $10 kris krindle in the middle of the table.
Tricia gave us all a piece of paper.
We opened it mine was blank, so was most of them,
except Marie. So she was the first one to choose.
Of course she took the one I wanted, but we went clockwise
and I was second. I took a nice red bag with Ho Ho Ho all over
and trimmed with white fur( Mykaela would love it,
Might recycle it next year)
I had a tube of shower gel.
I use some and it smell very nice.

Wednesday 16 December 2009
Amelia is 14 months TODAY Yehhh
She loves pen, pencils texters.
She is doing some coloring.
Look, she is even putting the lid back on.

I got her a Christmas T shirt.
It is more like a dress.

Christmas bells.
oh, a ball.
the tree is completely decorated with non breakables.
I got so much decorations (all presents)
I could decorate 3 trees.
Isn't she gorgeous?
she is just wondering what to explore next.
She start going somewhere and stop to see if
I am following.
I do that all day.In the evening I am exhausted
and haven't done a thing.
The whole family Christmas stocking.

This is the way she is now often crawling.
Few time she try standing from this
position and tip over.
The first time I was wondering how she could have
fallen, so I watch her.
She loves the magazines rack.

Poor lavender teddy.
Back in its box.

Playing with old dolly pegs.

The play pen makes a good gate.

At lunch time, she kept on knocking over
her plastic cup with the spout.
And pointing to my glass.
I kept on saying:
Grand ma glass.
I was a bit slow.....
I pour her boiled water in my glass and...
voila
She did not spilled a drop.
I had a lot of fun, every week she is doing new things.
Last night (Tuesday), I was preparing her bath.
She was standing near by pulling on her nappy.
She knew she had to take it off to have her bath.
