Getting around

Amelia is moving around a lot but not really crawling.
She move faster when she is seated.
By moving her legs and bottom she covers a lot of ground and fast too.

We are ready to go for a walk

She loves standing up.
When I have her on my lap, she often try to stand up and get my glasses.

You can't see it well but she got my glasses.
she is fascinated with them.

Yes there is a tooth there (24-06-2009)

Musical Sunday

On Sunday, we parked the car at Milson Point and walked across the Harbour bridge.

We walked across the Domain to the Art gallery.

They had a midday concert. The Australian institute of music's classical voice.
It was very good. We enjoyed it a lot.
After the concert we went to the Art gallery restaurant.
And NO we did not have the chicken Caesar salad.
Claude had the Ploughman lunch and I the tuna nicoise salad.

When we came out it was raining.
Claude had to put my hand bag under his rain coat
while we walked across the Botanical garden.

The smell of the bats was very pungent.

The fountain was a bit desolate with all the aquatic plants dormant for the winter.

We walk pass the Chinese arch......

and a shy maiden....

And we arrived at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
We listen to the Apollo trio.
( I did not like it.)
It was getting late, and we had to walk back across the bridge to our car.

Having Amelia on a Friday

Friday morning breakfast in bed.

Amelia is having a chat with grand dad.
I think she is asking him where was her breakfast?
She just had her bottle.

Going for a walk, saying hello to the ducks.

proud grand dad with the chick magnet....
yes a woman smiled at him after looking at Amelia.

more ducks, they must be fed a lot by children because they came straight to the pram.

We walk to a new playground.
It has a lot of beautiful sand carvings.
There is an area for older children and one for toddlers completely enclosed.

This dragon is in the giant sand pit.

one of the statues.

Amelia trying the baby swing.

Now trying the rocking elephant.
She is too little for it I had to be close by in case she slip through.

She loved it.

Taking turn on the slippery dip.

Oh yes we had to pass under the pelican again....

We stopped for a bottle with a peaceful view.

waiting for the burp.

back on our way.
Grand ma did not have a turn at pushing the pram.

In the car sit.
a tired happy girl.
She did not stay happy for very long, she cried all the way home.

Zonked out.
It has been a long day.
We had Amelia today because Jo is doing a course and Shane is in China.
It was good for Claude as he is not working on Friday so he could pass some time with his grand daughter.
The last time that we saw Amelia for 3 days in a row was in Perth.

Thursday night: feeding Amelia

Jo had to feed Amelia before we ate our dinner.

The veggies look

I gave her a bit of cauliflower to try.
She is picking up the flowerettes.
