an old bus

Last TuesdayI did not go to my school for seniors where I am learning quilling and card making. Instead I went onexcursion with the NSW senior.
It is a group I belong to. We meet once a month and there is a speaker.I found their talk very intersting.
They have excursion but often on Tuesday and that day I am busy so this was my first trip.
We left at 8.30am in a very comfortable and new bus.
Visit the tramway museum at Loftus and afterwards travel through the Royal National park where we had lunch (chicken and salad, sara lee cake and wine)
A big white cockatoo stole a breadroll.
then from Bundeena took the ferry across Port Hacking to Gunnamatta, where the bus was waiting to take us home.
I had a very pleasant day with friends and no cooking......

Valentine's day

Those are the chocolate I bought for Claude. They are marzipan covred in dark chocolate.
I help him eat them.....
The beautiful long stem rose I got. No not from Claude from the club reception where I went to the gym.

Claude opened a bottle of pink champagne. We had a glass with a game of scrabbles.

lazy Sunday

Every thing goes into her mouth
ooops she dropped it

isn't she beautiful.
I wonder what is she thinking as she sees us eating with the spoon.
She must be wondering what all the fuss is all about.

She had a very busy morning.
And we are finely dressed and ready for lunch

lunch on the deck

After lunch, we play "trivia" on the deck and when it became too hot we finised the game on our kitchen table. Jo won.

Smiling, look at her chubby legs, you could just eat her.

Grand'ma still in PJ, Amelia is very interested with the birds
A shame we can se the neighbour washing.

her little legs and arms were waving everywhere. I had to hold her tight

We had a very lazy morning. After breakfast, we just sat and talk in our PJ, Claude made us some more coffee. It must have been around 11am that we decide to stay home and have lunch as it was too late to go to the beach

Busy Sunday

We drove to Narrabeen Lake to do some bike riding, early in the morning (9.30am)

Claude riding in the car park.
me posing by the lake.

OOPS!! forgot to turn the photo. This is to show our predicament: either ride in the traffic on the narrow bridge or ride under a pelican. We were lucky this time usually there is on on each post.

Claude fixing his odometer. So we don't know how many km we did.

A stop at Deep creek. some dog training was in progress.

Can't make it work..........it's fixed

We finally made it to the beach. Stop for a well deserved drink.

Back home for lunch. Sausages sizzle. Claude light up the BBQ while I made the salad.

We spent the rest of the afternoon doing some gardening. It the council vegetation clean up. We have a lot of palm leave. Claude mulch as much as he can but those big things don't go in his little machine.

We also trim the Maple from the top of the driveway. The postman had to duck under it to put the mail in our box.
