An artist in the making

Amelia was very upset when

Shane dropped her off in

the evening.

So I gave her the paints set

that I had for her to play

on Wednesday.

She loved it and the tears dried up.

Wednesday 30 March

6.20 AM

"toast"

we were very early at the park

and then at the beach

collecting pine needle

( from Norfolk Island pine)

to put on her castle

balancing

I bought her a pack of 10 knickers

and in it was one matching

her Dora dress.

It was so cute as the dress is short.

and then more painting

Isn't she clever?

I drew the red flower on the right.

Yes I know, you should not draw for children.

As soon as I did it the thought came to me. And she reacted as predicted. She wanted me

to draw another one.

I told her that she had to do it.

I told her to do a circle, and not to forget

the stem and the leaf.

She did the yellow centre without prompting.

Feeding the ducks

Wednesday 23 March

Amelia wanted to go to the beach.

I had planned on going to Manly dam

to feed the ducks.

Amelia went to enlist grand dad.

So he said there is a beach at the dam.

But we have forgotten all the rain.

The dam was very full, no beach.

We arrive at the park and 3 enormous geese

came to see what we have got.

I had to put Amelia up, they were hissing.

and a play at the park playground.

We spend few hours there, I run out

of battery and the spare one was

in the car.

Two pony tails

Wednesday 23 March

She is awake since 6.30 am

putting her doll to bed.

I think she is the one who

want a quiet morning

reading her new book

oh yes....showing her baby.

yes, she is tired but she will have

to wait after lunch to have a nap.

we did her hair.

Two pony tails today.

her hair is growing.

oh she is very cheeky.

I have to get her dressed now.

We are going to Manly dam to feed the ducks.

The end of a busy day

Amelia does not want to come out

of the bath.

She is having fun with an empty

bottle.

Today has been a very busy day.

It was grand parents day.

Amelia brought us this lovely photo

taken by her teacher this morning.

Shane just dropped Amelia.

She is ready for bath.

But before she opened her letter

from Auntie Tina and uncle Christopher.

It was a little book.

Grand parents day

Today Tuesday 22 March was

Grand Parents day at Amelia

Day care.

Claude worked on Friday (his usual day off)

so that he could come too.

Each time our eyes met she waved to us.

She was very happy to see us there.

We continued with the morning off

by going to lunch at the Burnt orange.

Wednesday 16 March

Early this morning Amelia was ready for action.

When I went to get her up, she was bare bum.

She had removed her nappy and flung it

on the floor.

She told me: yukky when I ask her

why she took the nappy off.

She wanted to write.

So I gave her the coloring that Auntie Tina

and Uncle Christopher send her

on tip toe

later on we went to Queenscliff park.

there was a LOT of children.

Amelia had to wait for every ride.

this morning she wanted an apple so

I packed one for morning tea.

But a lot of children were walking

around eating sultanas.

So she wanted some, she even empty

my bag when I told her I did not

have any.

After a while we went and walk along

the lagoon.

All along the walk was animals carvings.

poor possum she thought it was

Peter rabbit.

that was a quick visit to the fish

and we found some empty swings.

Like her sister she like posing on top

of big carving.
