Sydney to Hobart

Yachts race

It has been raining all morning.

But by 12 it was fine.

I packed up a pic nic and we headed

to a good vantage point to see the start

of the race.

Wild oats. The little boats have not clear

the harbour yet.

The harbour is calm now

This chartered boat is coming back

after having accompanied the boats out

of the harbour.

It is now very hot and sunny.

Christmas day 2010

Amelia has been awake for a long time

I kept on going to see her to get her

up but she ignored me, did not look my

way and sucked harder on her dummy.

So I said nothing and left.

Santa has arrived
guess what?...a straw broom.

a baby bath and all the essential.

She loved it and went to wet the washer.

Bad grand ma, she put a chocolate

Shane got a new game.

He had to remove the battery

from Amelia control as she

kept on having him kill.

We left soon after lunch for Jo and Shane

to pack to go on their camping holidays

with Jo's dad, his fiancee, her grand mother

and her brother and his girl friend.

Claude and I went for a walk along

Manly beach to Shelley beach.

The beaches were packed. I have never

seen so many people.

And some of them even had Christmas trees.

Christmas Eve 2010

Friday 24 December

When we arrived at Shane and Jo 's place

Amelia became very excited and did a bit

of a show off with all her toys.

She has been very good with all the presents

under the tree, she did not touch them.

Jo had some friends from few doors down
the street to come and wait for Santa in
the little enclosed patio.
Amelia went and changed her clothes.

I have a memory like a sieve...

I forgot the little boy name.

He is a twin and today was their 3rd

birthday

There was an older boy but he was playing

with Mykaela electronic toy.

At last Santa came

we can have dinner...

We have decided not to have wine but

some very nice cider with our meal.

The food was very lovely so I forgot

Mall walkers Christmas breakfast 2010

Thursday 23 December

Like all Tuesday and Thursday we all meet

at the mall to start walking at 7.30am
We walk for 1 hour with stretching and
balance exercises every now and them.

Wednesday 22 December

Oh no not another photo.

I will have to stop taking so many photo.

Amelia is objecting to it. She said: NO

We had planned to go to the beach, but

it turn out to be cool, so we went to

the park.
